P.L.A.Y. Music is Back!

P.L.A.Y. Music

We are so excited to have the PLAY Music Program of the Winston-Salem Symphony as a community partner again this year. Each Monday and Wednesday after school, approximately 40 students in grades K-5 meet in small groups to learn to play violin.  P.L.A.Y. Music, (the Piedmont Learning Academy for Youth,) is the Wiston-Salem Symphony's El Sistema-inspired program that aims to teach 'the whole child,' head, heart and hands.  The curriculum integrates the students' backgrounds and heritage as well as promotes childhood literacy.
