International Art Exhibit

The Arts & Humanities Jury of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is pleased to announce the publication of “Rise Up” and “The Little Light,” original art and photography by Amanda Gordon, in the DKG Gallery of Fine Arts, an online gallery of works of art and letters at https://gallery.dkg.org/.

The new DKG Fine Arts Gallery was just unveiled in mid-November.  The current exhibit includes 154 works accepted out of 198 entries from 140 artists.  Gordon’s artwork will be displayed on the gallery for six months, after which it will be archived for two years.  Another opportunity for showcasing the accepted work will be at the DKG International 2023 conference or 2024 convention Expo.

Amanda Gordon is our Magnet Coordinator.  Gordon stepped into this role full time this year but previously taught visual art at the school for the last 18 years.  Due to her leadership and other accomplishments throughout her career, Gordon was invited to the Delta Kappa Gamma organization and inducted into the Delta Psi Chapter of the NC State Organization of the Society in April 2022.
