Home Moravian Church, located in Historic Old Salem, has been a community partner and supporter of our school for several years. Numerous members of their congregation have volunteered for school events, classroom small groups, test proctoring, and other times during school activities. They have a tradition of holding school supply collections as well as raising money to provide each teacher with a gift card to purchase additional classroom supplies.
This year, the annual fundraiser dinner was not held in person, but instead a virtual Zoom meeting was held with members of the congregation. They met principal, Dr. Dobson, as well as our magnet coordinator, Mrs. Gordon.
