Hurricane Relief

Our students and teachers collected school, art and cleaning supplies to donate to other A+ Schools in North Carolina who were affected by the recent hurricanes.  North Carolina A+ Schools and their director invited fellow A+ Schools to collect and donate supplies to help fellow A+ School Employees, teacher and students.  We collected approximately 7 boxes of notebooks, crayons, markers, pencils, and other necessary supplies to deliver to North Carolina A+ Schools during the Fall Leadership Meeting in Raleigh.  Several schools along the coast and in eastern North Carolina were affected or damaged by the recent hurricanes, and some schools lost almost all of their supplies.  This was a great opportunity for our students to complete a service project and learn several important character traits such as kindness and generosity.  Thank you to all students and teachers who donated.  Our thoughts are with our fellow A+ Schools, Teachers and Students who are still recovering from the hurricanes.
