Congratulations to Mrs. Jane Bullin and Mrs. Julie Wright on their retirement.

She has been involved in several committees throughout her career and in retirement plans to spend time with family as well as read, camp, and vacation to the beach.

Staff Luau Luncheon

Faculty & Staff celebrated a successful year as well as moms-to-be and retirees at a luau luncheon. It was so much fun playing a trivia game, enjoying good food, dressing luau style, doing the limbo to enter the room, and playing games with colleagues.

5th Grade Promotional Ceremony

Congratulations to our 2023 5th grade class, the graduating class of 2030, on all their accomplishments and a beautiful promotional ceremony. They sang to their families, "Count on Me." Our keynote speaker, Dr. Timisha Barnes-Jones, Inspire340 area Superintendent, challenged students to:

“Believe in yourself, trust in your abilities, and know that you are capable of achieving greatness,” was one piece of advice that Dr. TBJ shared to remind students to pursue their dreams through good character.
She ended by saying, “Embrace the journey, follow your dreams, and always remember that the greatest adventures await those who dare to believe in themselves.”

Fourth grade ambassadors helped lead students in and out of the space while the Arts Team supported and awarded 11 A+ Magnet Awards. Each student crossed the stage while 5th grade teachers, Mr. Algarin, Ms. Heaton, Mr. Legette, Mrs. Seymour, and Mrs. Woodard called their name and listed their awards and accomplishments.

The ceremony ended with Dr. Dobson challenging students to do their best and show their best character. Family and friends joined 5th graders at a reception after the ceremony.

Pre-K: End-of-the-Year

Pre-K had an exciting year of events and celebrations. They ended their year with an art exhibit for families and a prom. The art exhibit included original art by students, based on the style of famous artists. On prom day, our resident DJ Sigler, dropped the beat. Students dressed to impress with their teachers, Mrs. Drab, Mrs. O'Brien and assistants, Ms. Flowers and Mrs. Workman.

Field Day

Fun, laughter, teamwork, games, and great weather made for a wonderful K-2 & 3-5 Field Day. This year, we had two field days, one for each half of the student body.

Tiger Kim's World Class Tae Kwon Do is always a favorite Field Day station. Thank you #TigerKimsTaeKwonDo for supporting our field day. The instructor attended both field days and taught students basic skills with some kick demonstration, posture, and voice commands.

It was a pleasure to have Carrie's Girls Italian Ice & More at our Field Day events. The Italian Ice was such a delicious, refreshing treat.

Thank you staff and volunteers who made Field Day a huge success!

Band & Orchestra Concert

Our 4th and 5th grade Band TAG Groups work hard all year advancing their skills in musical performance. They learn basic skills and focus on an instrument, which they choose in 3rd grade. Students meet a couple times as week and sometimes rehearse at home. Annually, in the spring, they showcase what they learned under the direction of Mr. Rick Sigler, Band Teacher, and Mr. David Mullikin, Orchestra Teacher. Families were so impressed and excited to attend the concert and hear their students perform.
