Home Moravian Church has been a long-standing community partner and supporter of our school for many years. Each year, they send volunteers to support our students in reading. They hold school supply drives. They provide breakfast for faculty and staff during Teacher Workdays in August. Home Moravian Church also offers special projects and surprises during the holidays.
Each fall, Home Moravian holds a fundraiser dinner to kickoff the annual partnership. This dinner is a time for the school to make introductions and display info, news, and photos about our school. It is a time for members to meet the administrative team. Monies collected from the dinner go toward a fund that purchases a gift card for every teacher and classroom.
In October, Principal, Dr. Dobson, Assistant Principal, Dr. Kelley, and Magnet Coordinator, Mrs. Gordon, attended the dinner and shared a slideshow of photos and news about our school.
