We would like to welcome our new Assistant Principal, Dr. Kim Kelley, to the school family.
Dr. Kelley has worked in education for 24 years in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. She has taught 5th and 6th grade as well as served as an administrator. Dr. Kelley comes to Diggs-Latham from Winston-Salem Prep.
Dr. Kelley attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for her Bachelors’ as well as her Masters’ Degree. She completed her Doctorate at Gardner Webb University.
In her free time, Dr. Kelley spends time with her partner and 3 adult children; she is also looking forward to becoming a grandmother for the first time in the next few months. Dr. Kelley is a Duke basketball fan and enjoys landscaping and doing lawn work.
Dr. Kelley is excited to join Tiger Nation and get to know the staff, students, parents, and community of Tigerland.
