School Showcase

The Winston-Salem Forsyth County School's Annual School Showcase, (formerly known as the Magnet Fair,) is a time for schools, particularly choice and magnet schools, to show the community and potential new parents and students all the school has to offer.

With it being 2020....the School Showcase was a virtual event.  Parents joined on the WSFCS website, entered some information to be directed to the right zone or school level, and then reviewed school profiles.

Our profile included:

During the School Showcase, Magnet Coordinator, Mrs. Gordon, and Assistant Principal, Mrs. Ortiz, created parents or visitors on a Zoom call.  They were then invited to join a breakout room with a member of the Arts or ESL staff.  Current students also joined the breakout rooms to demonstrate instruments and talk about the Magnet program.
